Sorry. My apologies. I haven't used up all my pictures from Kings Landing yet. Haha
All houses have windows and I've taken many photos of the windows at Kings Landing each time I visit. I find a new window or a new view through a window to capture. I like this shuttered window and the old windsor chair in front of it, above. A good place to knit, crochet, mend, or read with lots of light coming in.
The table in front of this window holds a candle and some nicely knitted mittens ready for the cold winter months ahead.
This is a dry sink in front of the window with a nice view of a barn and a pretty maple tree outside.
This is the store and I noticed the Union Jack flags in the pitcher in the window. The barrels contain turnips and beets. I love the bench. They make them at Kings Landing and sell them in the Emporium but they are longer than this one.
This house has running water from an artesian well at it's sink in the attached shed. I like the flowers on the window sill. What do you think of the sink and faucet? Do you see the small building through the window? That is a rare octagonal shaped outhouse. Isn't it fancy?
There is also a beautiful view of the St. John River out this window while you do the dishes.
This is the little chapel with it's beautiful stained glass windows. It was decorated for Thanksgiving that weekend.
Each of the side windows had these beautifully decorated baskets of dried flowers along with gourds and leaves.
Don't you just love the gorgeous colours in this bouquet of flowers? To me, orange, gold and cobalt blue are a perfect colour combo for fall.
How's your week going? Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day!
